Krystina Grantham,LPC
Krystina completed her undergraduate education at Penn State University, and graduated with her degree in 2011. She quickly transitioned into completing her Master's Degree in Applied Forensic Psychology in 2014, through the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Since completing her masters degree, Krystina has a compiled a diverse background where she has worked in a variety of settings including: PA Department of Corrections, inpatient and outpatient dual diagnosis facilities serving substance abuse and mental health treatment,Family-Based treatment , and Private practice settings. Through this experience, Krystina has found that her skills are best served working with the adolescent and young adult female population.
Krystina has a passion to work with those who struggle with trauma, self-harm, self-esteem issues, anxiety, depression, body dysmorphia, and eating disorders. Krystina is currently in the process of completing her certification as well as a eating disorder therapist.
Krystina utilizes an honest and direct approach to therapy, encouraging her clients to remove negative thought processes and put a heavy focus on creating a positive frame of mind that encourages emotional acceptance and rational thinking. Krystina utilizes an eclectic approach that includes motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and solution-focused therapy, as well as an array of other techniques in order to guide her clients towards positive growth.
