Kelly Borich is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Clinical Certified Complex Trauma Professional. Kelly has a Master’s in Social Work from Marywood University and a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Sociology from Lycoming College. Before entering the mental health field over 10 years ago, Kelly was an American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) certified massage therapist for 20 years. She found her roots in body-based therapy and holistic healing in Boulder, Colorado and remains grounded in working through brain-body connection to support the healing in others. Kelly feels deep appreciation for her long career as a bodyworker and continues to be in pursuit of growing and learning as a somatic psychotherapist.

Kelly values the humanistic approach to creating therapeutic relationships and attending to the change that truly matters to her clients. She works with individuals and families, the LGBTQ community, and folks in their teens and adults of all ages. Kelly adapts the flow and approach with clients using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive and Schema Processing, Somatic Psychotherapy, Polyvagal Theory, Hakomi, Mindfulness, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Solution-Focused Therapy.  Kelly supports clients experiencing individualized challenges from the impact of anxiety, depression, trauma and life adversities, strains in attachment and communication within relationships, exploring identity, and moving through difficult life transitions. Kelly creates a bridge with her clients through the language of the nervous system, and understanding through curiosity about the thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and behaviors that make us all human.
