Jeremy completed his undergraduate work at Clarion University where he studied Rehabilitative Sciences with a concentration in Substance Abuse counseling. From There, Jeremy then moved on to complete his master’s degree with Indiana University of Pennsylvania Specializing in Clinical Mental Health counseling. Through His intensive training and education Jeremy has developed the skills and insight necessary to handle many different diagnoses and life issues. Jeremy is presently a Nationally certified Counselor (NCC) through the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). Additionally, Jeremy is also a State Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), whom is fully insured through Healthcare Providers Service Organization (HPSO).

Jeremy has worked in the field of addiction and mental health for the better part of 8 years. Working in this field has allowed him to expand his skills as a therapist, so that he can assist those whom are struggling with addiction and mental health related issues, to living a clean and sober lifestyle and a lifestyle in which they can manage their mental health in a heathy way. Jeremy also takes special interest in working with those whom are in crisis or struggling with suicidal thoughts as well as those individuals whom have experienced traumatic events.

Jeremy believes in an approach to therapy that puts emphasis on a strong therapeutic relationship, which provides him with the foundation to work together with his clients to identify problem areas and improve upon the identified problem areas them, by utilizing their own strengths as a tool for success. In addition, Jeremy also works from a gestalt-based approach, which allows him to work with clients that have suffered from traumatic events throughout their life by working to process unfinished business and reach a place of closure. Jeremy enjoys utilizing an approach that is honest, direct, and non-biased, but also works from a place of compassion and kindness as well. Jeremy will work diligently with his clients to establish a sense of self-empowerment, so that they may reach their goals and heal from various emotional wounds that they have been suffered over the course of their lives. Jeremy will often utilize a variety of traditional and eclectic approaches including, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Dialectic Behavioral therapy, Strength-Based approaches, Gestalt, Mindfulness-Based, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapies.
